About Solvidence

Care is part of how we find answers.

Physician-led and based in Columbia, Maryland, Solvidence brings participants, investigators, and study sponsors together around questions that matter to medicine.

Our name

Solving. Evidence.

Solvidence joins two ideas: the questions research sets out to solve and the evidence needed to understand the answers.

Our name reflects a conviction that guides our approach: the value of an answer depends on how carefully it was found.

The human contribution

A study takes place in someone’s life.

Taking part may mean rearranging work, organizing transportation, or discussing the decision with family. Alongside the medical questions are practical ones: What will be expected of me? Who can I speak to? What happens next?

Those questions deserve time and clear answers. People should understand what participation involves, including what remains uncertain, and feel comfortable deciding whether a study is right for them.

Our responsibility

Respect for people and evidence.

A participant’s experience needs to be heard and recorded accurately. A concern needs to reach the right person. Each visit and observation contributes to what a study can tell us.

Careful work

Follow the protocol, document what happens, and communicate clearly with the people responsible for the study.

An honest account

Examine what the evidence reveals, including findings that are unexpected or inconclusive.

The care behind the evidence

People give their time to help medicine learn.

We owe that contribution careful work and an honest account of what it reveals.
